Retail Theft Security Advice

System Operation

1. System will capture a facial image and a physical behavioral pattern clip of every individual that enters and moves around the store and will record it to database No. 1 for a 24 hour period.

2. System will then search database No. 3 for an existing file of this individual and if a record is confirmed will immediately notify floor walkers of the intruder’s presence.

3. The system will also analyse the new physical behaviour in order to determine if a new shoplifting event is occurring and if confirmed will store the data on database No. 2 and will immediately notify floor walkers of the event that is in progress.

4. An employee will then review the new recorded event data to either add the incident to an existing shoplifter’s file or to create a new shoplifter’s file on database 3.
